Organized as part of the “Seongnam City Regional Medical Device Education and Training Support Center” project, supported by South Korea’s Ministry of Health and Welfare and Seongnam City, the two-day program attracted approximately 30 Vietnamese healthcare professionals. Participants engaged in theoretical lectures and hands-on training, gaining practical experience with the clinical applications of advanced South Korean medical equipment.
The training highlighted devices from leading South Korean manufacturers, including Mesh Co., Ltd.’s Cryo-Master, ThermoREX, and LTEI; Biomedus Co., Ltd.’s LabGenius® and rt DuxCycler; and Metabiomed Co., Ltd.’s MetaFix PK, MetaLock Knotless PK, and MetaFix Knotless PK. These devices cover a broad spectrum of medical applications, from diagnostics to therapeutic interventions.

On the first day, lectures focused on the technical capabilities and clinical case studies of South Korean medical devices. The second day featured simulated diagnostic and treatment scenarios, allowing participants to operate the equipment in realistic settings. Attendees expressed high satisfaction with the devices’ performance and ease of use.
Young Heo, Vice President of the Korea Smart Medical Device Industry Promotion Foundation, underscored the program’s significance: “This was not just technology transfer; it was a platform to demonstrate the global competitiveness of South Korean medical devices in real-world conditions. We plan to expand such training programs for medical professionals both domestically and internationally.”
The program concluded successfully, strengthening confidence in South Korean medical devices within Vietnam’s healthcare community and establishing a foundation for future market opportunities in the region.
