Held under the theme “WE LEAD, The Prime of ALL,” the symposium gathered over 500 dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and aesthetic medicine specialists to discuss the latest innovations in lifting technology and Merz’s global brand vision. The event reaffirmed South Korea’s position as a leader in shaping global trends in medical aesthetics.
Dr. Park’s 40-minute presentation, titled “Precision Reimagined: Advanced Tailoring Strategy for Lift & Renewal with Ultherapy Prime,” explored customized lifting protocols optimized for Korean skin characteristics. He shared clinical data and experience-driven insights on how to individualize treatment plans based on skin laxity, dermal and subcutaneous thickness, and desired procedural outcomes.

His presentation emphasized depth-specific targeting techniques honed over 15 years of clinical experience. As an advisory consultant in developing Ultherapy Prime’s “Gold Standard” protocol, Dr. Park introduced gender-specific techniques that account for anatomical differences between male and female skin. He also unveiled a novel “Pore Ultherapy” method designed to improve pore size and skin texture.
He further stressed the role of clinician expertise, stating, “As devices allow for more refined procedures, precision in shot placement becomes crucial. Experienced practitioners are key to minimizing discomfort and preventing side effects such as midface volume loss.”
The panel session featured clinical case discussions and demonstrated the utility of Ultherapy Prime’s real-time imaging system, allowing precise visualization of treatment depth. Attendees shared insights on current clinical applications and anticipated developments in non-invasive lifting technology.
Dr. Park, the first physician to introduce Ultherapy Prime procedures in South Korea, will chair and present at the Asia-Pacific Launch Symposium on July 11. His ongoing research includes male-specific Ultherapy protocols and collaborative studies with Merz’s global team to clarify the regenerative mechanisms underlying ultrasound-based lifting. His findings, published in SCI-indexed journals, solidify his status as a thought leader in the field of medical aesthetics.
