TThe program was initiated in 2011 at the invitation of H. Bolormaa, former First Lady of Mongolia, and has continued annually except during the COVID-19 pandemic (2020–2022).

Dr. Kyung-ho Kang emphasized the significance of the 15-year initiative, saying, “Our ongoing medical missions in Mongolia reflect Ewha’s founding principles of service and sharing. We remain committed to advancing global health and highlighting South Korea’s medical expertise.”

This year’s mission underscores Ewha’s continuing efforts to address healthcare gaps in underserved regions and to promote cross-cultural medical collaboration.
