세종충남대학교병원이 건강보험심사평가원에서 발표한 2023년 1차 영상검사 적정성평가에서 94.6점으로 1등급을 받았다고 밝혔다.이번 평가는 CT, MRI, PET 검사에 대한 환자평가 실시율, 피폭 저감 프로그램 적용, 전문의 판독률 등 총 14개 지표를 기준으로 전국 1694개 의료기관을 대상으로 진행됐다.영상검사는 방사선 사용이 늘면서 환자 안전과 검사 질 관리가 중요해짐에 따라 2017년부터 관리가 시작됐고, 2023년부터 본격 시행됐다.권계철 원장은 “방사선 피폭과 조영제 부작용 위험을 낮추고 영상검사 질 향상에 더욱 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
